The Moment I Realized I Was ALIVE

In life, we all go through the motions of our day to day routine. We may have fun in between the daily routine, but we don't always have gratitude. I never really realized how God actually wants us to ENJOY life, It seems like such a big thing but it really is a realization that will stick with you forever. When my sister in law was pregnant, I vividly remember how ecstatic I was for her to have her baby. But, I didn't know why; I just loved babies and their chubby little faces. However, as I sat next to her belly and kissed her stomach, I really just felt a rush of life. Baby Addison kicked back and I was just so excited to meet her.

When Addison was born, I cried at her amazing beauty. There's something about every baby that's born. Babies are a true symbol of how beautiful life is. Addison's beauty was different for me. She was my niece and I now became someone she would look up to and love. God gave me the extrordinary blessing of loving Addison.

It's really hard to describe how amazing God has made life and that is why you have to experience it. I have now been able to realize by Addison being born and feeling life's first breath, that I am alive too and I should live life as if I'm alive. Life is about failing but not giving up, doing spontaneous things, making memories, and simply living your life to the fullest.
